Description

The concept of gender sensitivity has been developed as a way to reduce barriers to personal and economic development created by norms of society in boy/girl, man/woman. The girls and boys attain their man and womanhood in school only. It is in the school only that they first pass through their physical and emotional changes. Hence, values and assumptions made at this time will go a long way in framing their attitudes in life. In a nutshell, the objective of this workshop is to make teachers understand the need for and way-outs of gender sensitivity.
