The Centre of excellence in educational assessment, and research (CAER) has been set up through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and with Pearson Foundation. CAER has been established to provide a research base for building the capacity of teachers and producing top quality resources for indian schools and teachers. it Will seek to contribute to improvement in learning by focusing on areas such as school based assessment, teaching pedagogy, examination and research. it will be disseminate its findings through professional development programmes and publication.
